Leap Frog Water fountains can be found just outside
of the Imagination pavilion.
They
are a family favorite. Kids and
adults are delighted in their efforts to catch the water that flies from one
spot of a garden to the next. It
also provides a way to cool off – IF you can catch it!

The ride at the Imagination pavilion, Journey into
Your Imagination, will encourage you to use your imagination in new ways (or for
some people it may encourage then to start using their imagination).
It is an assortment of mind stimulating sights and sounds. For people who have visited EPCOT center in the past – you will be
saddened to discover that that the little purple dragon - Figment
is no longer your tour guide through your imagination.
However, you will still find Figment stuffed
animals and
memorabilia. Disney Cast Members
encouraged us to write letters to the Disney Corporation to encourage the full
return of Figment. Even
if you are not planning a trip to the Wonderful World of Disney, but are a Figment
fan, please join the letter writing campaign and request the return of the
“Figment of your Imagination!” |
The Image Works is an interactive imagination workshop.
It is a great place to play for both kids and adults.
Here you’ll find hexagons of light on the floor that make sounds as you
step on them, a drum “symphony” that will change sounds by the wave of your
hands, and computer coloring pages. The
largest exhibits at The Image Works are digital cameras attached to computer
programs. They will take your
picture and here, you can apply special effects to your smiling faces. Once you’ve applied the desired effect to your photo, you
can email it to your friends for free! Be
prepared to wait however – there are ALWAYS lines for the digital cameras.
Also at The Image Works, you can create a personalized Disney World CD.
This wonderful new way to take home Disney memories lets you pick YOUR
favorite music from any of the four Disney World parks.
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience is the one of the greatest
attractions at EPCOT Center. Based
off of the hit movie series “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” Professor Wayne
Szalinski (Rick Moranas)
prepares to receive an award for the Inventor of the Year.
At the award show, something goes terribly wrong, and before you know it,
the Audience has been reduced in size! This
is a 3-D interactive show. Not only
you will experience images flying right in front of your face, you will get wet
when the Szalinski dog sneezes on you, as well experience other delightful
sensory effects! This show is
fabulous! Make sure that you plan
for it on your trip.
